How long are the services?
Starting at 10:30 am, Services run 60-70 minutes. Length may vary on those Sundays when we celebrate communion or baptisms. Communion is served on the first Sunday every month.
Is childcare available?
Childcare for infants and toddlers is provided for the 10:30 a.m. service. An usher will direct you to the nursery attendant.
What should I wear?
We encourage you to wear whatever makes you comfortable. You will see men in suits and ties, slacks or jeans. You will see women in dresses, skirts/slacks and tees.
What will the music be like?
Joyful! From the traditional pipe organ and Chancel Choir to the modern “Flow” Praise Team, our musicians draw from excellent music of every genre.
What will the worship service be like?
During worship, we read the Scriptures, we sing, we pray, we hear the message from our pastor. On the first Sunday of every month, we receive the sacraments of communion.
When is Sunday School for children?
Sunday School, for children ages three through senior high, is held during the 10:30 a.m. service. First children go to the Sanctuary with their parents. After the Children’s Sermon, they are dismissed to join their Sunday School teachers.
Where can I park?
EWPC, a friendly neighborhood church, is located at Second St. and Milliken Ave., 3 blocks north of Whittier Boulevard. There’s plenty of parking along the tree-lined streets, or in the parking lot at the rear of the church property. Handicapped accessible.
